It's moderately warm even during silent mode and ordinary browsing although cpu temp is normal and gpu is off.

When gaming it actually gets insanely hot to touch the keyboard even as well as the base chassis either side of the touchpad while cpu/gpu temps aren't at a crazy region, 70°C - 80°C. Am I missing something or is there something else that causes a lot of heat?

Is the battery and components getting friend by high temperature use like this often? Or does my laptop sound faulty.

Was going for a 16GB, RTX 5050 model of the G14 which was in the budget but was notified of a 32GB, RTX 5060 model from the same UK retailer but at only £200 higher and is described to be in "very good" condition with only "excellent" above it. 12 month guarantee for faults.

I've never bought anything that wasn't brand new from the box for this price point, and reading a lot of the horror stories on here about refurbished models makes me a bit wary, so curious on other people's experience?

I'm not planning to run anything particularly intensive and won't be having a million chrome tabs open while gaming, if I did go for the 5050, 16GB version.

Going for the 16 GB RAM, RTX 5050, Ryzen 9 270 version. A few questions:

• How loud are the fans when just using the laptop regularly outside of gaming, completely silent or noticeable?

• I see complaints online about the 5050 not being great, I don't plan on running anything too heavy and the 5060 option is about £1000 higher for some reason so outside the budget, is this a bad idea? Also the 16 GB of RAM over 24 or 32

• Is this still the best option even with only light gaming once in a while? Not into mac's but does this stand on it's own in terms of screen, performance, battery, sleekness compared to other non-gaming options on the market for this price point?

Anigo used to be good for one of the caption options being accurate for the english dub of an anime and not the sub but can't find any website like that recently since anigo was taken down.

English cc captions option that's not AI transcripts either.

Some of the reason why tests are so hard to find and get clogged up is because of resellers mass booking tests. Will not allowing instructor bookings anymore mean that this will make test bookings for learners easier outside of the 6am Monday morning rush?
