Anyone here had little to no response on semaglutide but succeeded after switching to tirzepatide?
I've been wondering how common this is.
I've been on semaglutide for a while and I'm currently at 1 mg. This is the first dose where I've noticed any appetite suppression at all, but it's been quite mild. Even then, the effect seems to taper off almost completely by day 5 after the injection, and by then it feels like I'm back to baseline. I'm curious if anyone else had a similar experience.
- Did you go through the full semaglutide dose escalation (or even reach the maximum dose) before deciding it wasn't working?
- Did you have little to no appetite suppression, fullness, reduced food noise, or meaningful weight loss on semaglutide?
- What made you decide it was time to switch to tirzepatide?
- Once you switched, did tirzepatide actually work better for you?
- How long did it take before you noticed a difference?
- Was the improvement obvious compared to semaglutide?
I'm especially interested in hearing from people who were genuine non-responders to semaglutide rather than those who switched because of side effects or supply issues.
