foster kitten suddenly blind; rescue says its ok to wait till morning?

i just went in the room to check on my foster kittens and noticed one of the kittens pupils were huge and he didnt even react when i walked in(theyre former strays and im still working on socializing them, they usually bolt as soon as they see me)

i put a flashlight by his eyes and his pupils didnt react. and i like waved my hand directly in his face and he didnt even blink

he eats when i put him in front of the plate and is otherwise acting normal aside from bumping into things.

i was going to bring him to the ER vet as soon as i noticed but the rescue says that as long as theres no seizure activity and hes still eating, that he's okay until an appointment first thing in the morning

im just super worried and figured i'd post here incase anyone has any advice if i should bring him to the er vet anyways???

small update: i called the er vet last night and explained everything and they basically said we're better off waiting for the vet appointment since he's stable.
we took him to the vet this morning, he tested positive for fiv and has a fever. the assumption is that mama has fiv and he just has the antibodies
they also ran bloodwork which ended up coming back clean, no issues.
they referred us to an ophthalmologist but there was a scheduling issue so they cant fit us in till tomorrow:(
aaand that's all i've got. lil man is doing okay, still eating good and maybe a little lethargic but he had a long morning so not surprised. just gonna continue monitoring for now i guess, i hate this i feel soo helpless :( thanks for all the kind comments and advice i greatly appreciate it, i'll continue to update when i know more 🫶

announcing engagement on social media 3 months late?

im probably(definitely lol) overthinking this but me and my fiance got engaged in february while on a trip, i told my close friends and family and intended on making a social media post(im not active and dont post much) but honestly it just kind of slipped my mind amidst everything.

i just thought about it today and ofcourse i want to change my relationship status but i feel like its weird to make a post "announcing" it when its been months after the fact? what do yall think?

we have a friendly stray cat that we call Cece that's been coming to our house for a few months, when we noticed she was pregnant we made an appointment for a spay abort but unfortunately she gave birth a few days before her appointment:( a few days ago she showed up with all her kittens and today we were able to snag them all and mom

i fostered one litter of kittens + mama before this, and mom was friendly but she gave birth in our garage so the kittens were ofcourse easy to tame

i dont even know where to start with this one! i've been working with a lady who does rescue but shes sooooo busy i feel bad bothering her for questions, but shes able to help w getting me medication and vaccinating them when the time comes!

i know they have fleas, worms, and some sort of eye infections but i have nooo clue how i'm gonna bathe or treat them. i got them all about ~30 mins ago and theyre in a spare room, i peaked on them and they're starting to walk around but im honestly nervous to go in there and approach them, i dont want to scare them! like i said mama is super sweet and lets us hold her and pick her up so i'm hoping if they see that they'll be more trusting of me?

any advice that may be useful to me is greatly appreciated!! im super new to all this so i need all the help i can get hahah

some crappy pics for tax! mama is all black and she had 3 black kittens, 2 torties, and 1 tabby! (coincidentally enough thats the exact same as our first foster litter except mama was a seal point!)

i took in a pregnant mama 2 months ago with the intention of getting her spayed.. well.. she gave birth in my garage. the runt of the litter was 60grams when she was born, absolutely tiny. i spent weeks going in there every 2 hours, making sure she was nursing, i'd weigh her every day and made sure mama was taking care of her. she had swimmer's syndrome so i was also doing physical therapy with her multiple times a day..she was sooo much smaller than her siblings. throughout all that i found myself very attached to this lil fighter.

two days ago a stray brought her babies to my door and theyre sick and skinny.. i reached out to my local rescue and they're going to put my current fosters with a new foster so i can take in these sick kittens...

guys.. im heartbroken lol i've literally been crying all night and day over my lil runt girl Duck i want to keep her SO bad but i know she'll find a great home, shes the sweetest cutest kitten. i'm just really struggling with the thought of not having her and was hoping for some advice:( this is my first time fostering a litter, the last time we tried to foster a kitten we found it ended up being a foster fail and we kept him so clearly my track record already sucks lol :(

**update**

foster success!!!!! i did it guys:') they all went to their new foster last night, including my lil duck girl❤️ it definitely stung and i'm a bit sad but i felt so much better after dropping them off than i did before! someone said the anticipation of them going is the worst and i definitely agree!

we were able to trap the litter thats outside so now theyre my main focus, i'm ready to pour all my love into these babies as soon as they'll let me, theyre spicy lmao!!

2 months ago i had 3 pregnant strays at my door, 2 friendly 1 feral
i was able to bring one friendly one inside and she gave birth that same night. i was also able to snag a spay appointment for the other friendly one but i was too late, she gave birth before her appointment. i tried to trap the feral one and it didnt work. i used the appointment for a random tomcat that i was able to trap instead

now i have 1 mama and 6 8wk old kittens, and today the other friendly mama just brought her 4 babies here. im so overwhelmed i dont even know what to do :( i've been talking to a lady who works w rescues + cat cafes and shes supposed to come and give my current foster litter their first shots + get them fixed once they reach 2lb + place them in cat cafes....but shes cancelled on me so many times i'm not sure if i should try reaching out to another rescue? i just feel bad i know they're so busy.. and that feral mama cat i wrote about in the beginning is somewhat friendly now, and i know its only a matter of time before she shows up with her babies.

i dont know what to do if anyone has any advice or guidance its greatly appreciated
