Axolotls on Pebbles in Store

Manager does not see the problem with keeping growing axolotls on pebbles.

I told a different associate and they told me the employee who does the aquarium keeping has a 5 year old axolotl and said the pebbles were big enough that there was no risk of them swallowing them.

Left a negative review for petco regarding this, and got a bot response telling me to call them. Hours long wait time. No thanks.

Riddle me this - baby animal. Animal get bigger. Animal mouth get bigger too. Animal does not see good. Animal smells to locate food. Animal DOES NOT BITE THINGS. ANIMAL GULP WATER LIKE PATRICK STAR VACUUM MOUTHING A FRIDGE TO EAT. Animal try to gulp little worm in the pebbles. Animal swallow pebble. ANIMAL CANNOT DIGEST ROCK. ROCK STUCK IN STOMACH. ANIMAL DIES.

If it is the same width or smaller than their heads, they can swallow it. These rocks are VISIBLY SMALLER.

????????? WHY. I honestly cant believe the aquarium keeper has their own axolotl and did this. Baby axolotls need to be kept on no substrate. Im pretty sure the sole remaining one is impacted. The other ones that used to be there are all gone. Hopefully adopted, and not impacted and dead but who knows.

[Japanese > English] decorative bowl

I was gifted this cute kitty bowl by one of my Japanese American friends. She is still learning Japanese and can't read quite all of what it says. Something about happiness and cats? Is anyone able to fully translate it?

2nd pic is the bottom of the bowl, which I am assuming shows either the brand or artist's name.

Thank you!!
