JotWell: manual expense tracker for Android

Disclosure: I built this app.

I built JotWell because I still prefer tracking expenses manually. I used Monito for years and liked one simple flow: open app, add amount, pick category, done.

Bank-linked apps and Account Aggregator flows work for many people. I still wanted a local ledger where I decide what gets recorded.

JotWell is Android-only and local-first. It has:

- no account or bank link

- manual income and expense logging

- CSV/XLS import

- JSON backup

- recurring entries

- widgets

- monthly stats

- optional on-device SMS suggestions that ask before saving

I would love feedback from people here who still track spending manually. Does this solve a real need, or has bank sync fully replaced manual tracking for you?
