Cheeseburgers by a campfire

Went camping and cooked some burgers on the fire. The cheeseburgers were ok, but the time spent cooking and enjoying them around a campfire with the fam was priceless.

Luigi’s Pizza at Paia Fish Market Waikiki

There isn’t a very large selection of good Margherita pizza in Oahu, but Luigi’s hit the spot. We ordered the Margherita, the Burrata, and a pepperoni. Thin crust, flavorful sauce, and slightly charred, it was perfect for a late dinner by the pool.

Bringing food on trip

Thinking about grocery prices in Oahu vs. mainland…If I am flying into Honolulu and staying for a few weeks, living out of a hotel room, what are some good items I should think about bringing over with me, so I won’t have to buy on the island, that would save me a little money?

DTS not approved for AT…

I am supposed to be on AT in about five days, but I still don’t have full approval in DTS… should I be worried or is there still time?

I have emailed multiple times and called my NRC, no responses back yet…

I live too far away to just drop by in person, but may have to make a special visit later this week if I don’t get any approval or responses.

Home Slice Pizza - ATX

Went to Home Slice Pizza in Austin, TX for the first time the other day. It was really great. I think the Margherita might have secured a spot as #2 on my Margherita list. I also tried a slice of their White with mushrooms that was tasty.

Mighty Fine Burgers ATX

Visited Mighty Fine Burgers in Austin, TX for the first time. I got the triple smash burger. It won’t be taking number one on my smash burger list, but it was pretty good. It was cool to see they grind their beef fresh each day.
