Smoked BBQ burger…a house-smoked ground brisket patty, cheddar, caramelized onions, pickles, & house BBQ sauce and tater tots fried in beef tallow.

Got the Captain Hat bun, no sauce, on a napkin plate.
Exquisite.

Two double cheeseburgers with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, pickles and onions, they aren't pretty but were very tasty.

I was back in L.A. after decades, and In-N-Out was my first stop after landing at LAX. My expectations were high, but the nostalgia never really returned. The burgers were just okay to me, and the fries were too. Anyone else with the same experience?

Nothing special. Just good.

A new experiment with sourdough buns. Made with wheat, whole wheat, rye flour, yoghurt and milk. Sprinkled with nigella seeds.

Inside we have a beef quarterpounder, a 1000 island style of sauce, fresh tomatoes, a cow/goat/sheep's milk melted cheese, lettuce, thinly sliced red onions, lightly roasted speck, salt and cracked black pepper. Forgot to add the pickles.

I put both slices of cheese on the bottom patty.
This is both visually and texturally the best cheeseburger I’ve ever made.
Should have thrown tomato and jalapeño on it, but it was damn good either way.

I made this at home after finding incredible rolls at the supermarket.

Felt like a burger tonight. Seasoned and smoked patty, toasted bun, caramelized onions, reserve cheddar, and housemade burger sauce.

73/27 beef on the grill. About 8 pieces of bacon in the air fryer, queso Muenster, & garlic herb mayo. It was quite good.

Bun was well toasted. Plenty of pickles. Not a fan of red onions on a burger, but I still ate them. Overall pretty tasty.
