Raising pre-seed, 22.5% dilution for a deep tech start up. Is it too much ?
So we are a battery tech start up working on a very immature battery tech, we are raising pre-seed from 2 vc's lead investor will put 1.25 cr for 12.5 percent and the ither 1 cr for 10% total 2.5 cr with 25 percent dilution.
we calculated our projected costs and it came upto 1.7cr for 18 months for basic RnD setups and every other costs, but the lead investor needs a co-investor as a condition so that they can bridge together in further rounds if needed!
Just needed advice as we the founding team is all students who jist passed undergrad in engineering!
Any advice wld be helpful thank you!
