X small regular vs petite for catarina top?

First time buying Figs. For women, is there a pretty big difference between the two? I am about 5ft 2~3 inches tall and weigh about 115 Ibs. Would I be ok with the X small regular top?

Would appreciate any help!

Few IM questions

  1. How do you decide on the PO diuretic dose that HF exacerbation patients go home on when their exacerbation resolves? I had one attending tell me that the patient should go home on the PO dose that is same as the IV dose that was used to resolve the exacerbation (for example, IV lasix 40 daily=lasix 80 daily PO) because that was the dose that helped with the exacerbation and I had another attending tell me to go back to home dose for a different patient (IV lasix 40 BID for exacerbation but lasix 40 daily PO on discharge) because the patient's SOB improved and lung sounds better
  2. How do you decide between just doing long acting insulin vs insulin drip for DKA patients? I had a patient with glucose of like 500, anion gap elevated, BHB elevated, but patient had no symptoms and vitals all stable. We just did long acting insulin and DKA resolved the next day or so.

Would appreciate help!

Priorities during extended pgy 1 year?

Couple questions from a struggling IM intern :(

I’m not performing well as a IM pgy 1 resident so my Pgy 1 year got extended 6 months. My Pd says he will see how I do first three months starting July and then decide on the next three months of rotation during the extension. I missed out on a clinical decision/reasoning today and I feel really bad.

I am also scheduled to take step 3 in August but I haven’t been able to prepare much.

I don’t know if this is a good question but Am I supposed to focus on my performance as a resident instead of step 3 in a few months at this point?

I was going through some things and couldn’t take the exam by June like my coresidents did. I believe this is the policy of our program but my PD let me take it after end of pgy 1 year since I am extending.

I feel like every mistake I make gets magnified because I am always scrutinized due to my current status.

Also, if I wanted to get started on ssri but even the lowest dose gives me a brain fog, am I just supposed to not take it? One time, I took lexapro 5mg just once and the next day I couldn’t think well and couldn’t think through a patient well so my attending got mad and reported me to the PD. Haven’t tried any since then.

I just don’t know how to deal with this situation. :(

Anyone use AT&T for internet?

Do I have to do anything to renew my service for one more year? Or will it just continue on its own? I’m not moving.

My program still looking for a new resident?

I am currently a pgy 1 IM but I haven’t performed so well in my rotations based on attending feedback so my PD at first told me “either repeat entire pgy 1 year or terminate contract” a couple months ago.

Fast forward to May, he told me that my performance have improved based on what my attendings have said about me but I am still not ready for pgy 2 so he said “6 months repeat but we will see how you do during the first three months and then decide on what rotations you will do next”

So I was planning on working hard to make things work but I saw on resident swap website that in April, he posted an opening for pgy 2 position for this July.

Wondering if I should be ok or if he intends on letting me go after finding someone 🥲
