Nordvpn refuses to disconnect

Hours after I disconnect and quit the app, Nordvpn decides on its own that it needs to be connected. For example, I just fired up YouTubeTV and it said it detected a proxy. So I restarted NVPN and sure enough, there was an active connection. I had to disconnect it again and quit the app again. This is a regular occurrence. How do I make it do what it's supposed to do?

OTF Corporate: bug in OTConnect app

For OTF corporate people, whom I know read this sub......

The number display in the upper-right corner of the rower tablets shows total meters for the current class. Bug is that it displays a maximum of 4 digits, so anything over 9999 meters will have the last digit truncated. The last digit will flicker on and off a little, but won't display consistently. For example, this morning I did 11,600 meters but the number displayed 1160.

Generative Recolor is ridiculously slow

It's taking several minutes for the dialog to populate with all the options. Anyone else experiencing this? My internet connection is otherwise pretty fast. I'm testing with a drawing I used to create a tutorial of this feature when it came out three years ago, and in that tutorial (with an older, slower Mac), the options came up right away.

When I choose one of the options, same thing: spinning beach ball for over a minute. Three years ago with the same image and slower Mac, the image changed color immediately.

Old bug is new again

Old bug that got fixed is now unfixed, again. As you can see by this screen shot, the names of tabs sometime get unnecessarily truncated even when the side panel has plenty of room to display them. (This is on my M2 Mac running the latest Tahoe. Don't know if it happens in Windows.)

Fortunately, there is a solution: switch to a different notebook, then switch back again. The tabs will display properly. But it's not a permanent solution because it will happen, again.

Big studio software upgrade?

One of my coaches said the owner of my home studio and a few others that last weekend, he spent a whole evening at one of the others doing a big software upgrade. Said it cost him $100k. I don't know if that includes new networking hardware, but that's still huge. Or maybe it's an older upgrade he put off for a while. Anyone know about this? I haven't been to that other studio since then, so I don't know if there are changes visible to members. Wondering if any OTF person out there knows what this was.

I'm surprised and maybe a little grateful that it took so long, but now it's my studio that's closing. Because of reduced membership in the post-covid years, it hasn't been profitable for a long time. The owner sacrificed a lot of money keeping us open. That's an advantage of ownership by an actual, local person rather than a venture capital group. Be thankful if that's what your studio is. So beginning in June, a bunch of us will transfer our memberships to another (profitable) studio under the same ownership, but—for me—twice the distance. A sad class this morning as we lose the place of a lot of memories.
