My energy bill seems way too high

I’m needing some help on things I can check on our newly built house. We bought it back in Aug of 2025, it’s in NC, and since then our energy bill has been outrageous. Our recent bill I just paid was $327. I’ve only lived in rentals up to this point, smaller than our house but not by much. And I’ve never had a bill that’s even half that price. I’m wondering, what are some things I can check on with the house to see if there is something causing these high bills? We are a family of Four and it’s not like we have electric devices just running 24/7, nothing that I can think of the explain such a high power bill.

Edit: thought I included the sqft but I guess I missed it. It’s 3100
