Who is she?

Beautiful leaves of silver, green, purple, and red. Tiny white/pink flowers. Obviously a rex begonia, but what kind? Google says Fireworks but I'm not buying it, closest I can find is a Jurassic Jr. Fire Spike but it's just not quite looking the same to me. Any clue who she is? This is probably my favorite of all my plants. 🥰

Isopods for cleanup crew/visual interest, is it cruel to put them in a non-ideal environment?

For context, I have a terrarium with some rare begonias and other various terrarium plants. It doesn't have a moisture gradient per se, the soil is consistently moist but not soggy with a good drainage layer, and tons of leaf litter and bark/branches on the surface for aesthetics. It hangs out around 80-90% humidity with an acrylic lid that isn't sealed but doesn't have great airflow either. It's cracked about 1/8th of an inch down the long side. I have a small fan that blow directly into it's general area so there's air constantly flowing above and around it.

I have springtails for the tiny bits of mold that pop up from the soil and leaves every now and then, and I've found myself enjoying staring at the tank to watch them clean up, but I think I want some creatures who are a bit bigger and more interesting for my setup.

My question is, if I were to get some isopods and put them in this environment which isn't *perfectly* suited for them (let's say they aren't a high-humidity species), is it considered cruel? In theory if they all died out I would feel awful but I feel like I'd be providing at least *mostly* their ideal conditions considering many live under rocks or in sterile plastic tubs.

Are there any species to absolutely stay away from? Any that like to eat healthy plants? I wouldn't be getting any fancy rubber duckies or anything.

Should I let this leaf go?

Desperately trying to keep my Botanicaz 115 alive!! Due to transplant shock and a series of humidity mishaps, it has already wilted and forced me to prune 3 leaves. This big one got really sad looking a few days ago, I fixed the humidity and it perked back up in middle but the wilted parts remain crispy. Now it's quite discolored and sad looking all over. There are 2 healthy looking teeny tiny leaves that I have hope for, but I don't know if the plant is putting too much energy into the dying leaf. Should I prune it too or will that be too much for such a small plant? Any other advice on keeping it alive?

Are House Flies appropriately sized for an i7?

So long story short, I received a wrong order and now have 100 House fly pupae. I was under the impression house flies were too big for an i7 but I'm curious what you all think. I am trying to get rid of the pupae but don't have any offers so far. I'm worried the flies will start to hatch eventually so I put the pupae in the fridge. Will I be able to feed the hatched flies to my i7 spider? If not, is there a non-cruel and non-infestive way to get rid of 100 House fly pupae?

Could she use a meal? New owner!

Basically the title. I've seen the feeding charts over and over but I'm just not sure where she's at. She looks a little between "hungry" and "fed" to me. If so, should I wait until she's a bit hungrier to feed again? She had a mini mealworm yesterday when I got her.

My new friend, Shoelace 🥰

I love her little surprised eyebrows!! She took a worm from my tongs just fine and is chomping away now. 😍

This lil babe just dropped from the heavens onto my balcony. Any clue who it is?

I guess my upstairs neighbor has a tradescantia! Found this while pruning some of my other outdoor plants, I have about 10 other tradescantia but I can't identify who this teeny tiny guy is. I thought the leaves looked too "uniform" to be a callisia repens but I could be wrong. I'll be attempting to propagate it, can't wait! 🥰

"I can fix her"

Saw this sad but gorgeous little dianthus which I've been wanting to attempt growing since carnations are my favorite flower, so I thought "I can fix her" and did my best with some deadheading and a plant tie. I'll come up with a more permanent support when I repot her. This is my first year gardening so I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing but I'm loving every second of it!

I run cold, I'm always cold except for my damn feet. I found the most "breathable" pair of sneakers I could possibly find and even a 5 min walk in 60 degrees (F) has my feet feeling like they're about to catch on fire! Does anyone else have this sensory issue with their feet? What kind of shoes do you wear?

I got way ahead of myself and planted a variety of indeterminate cherry tomatoes (Super Sweet 100) that grow super tall! I was planning on planting 1 bush in my 10 gal pot on my balcony, and using my 4ft railing as a trellis. It's just simple vertical 1/2 inch or so posts, so I thought they could easily be trained upward, but once they hit the top of it I'm not sure what to do.

Can I train them to grow sideways across the trellis?

Could I just lob the top off when it gets too much and take the L on the fruit?
