Y’all like Bananas?

I just stumbled upon this subreddit and thought someone might get a kick out of this banana I saw a few years back. Best wet floor sign I’ve seen yet.

Carry on!

Missouri Blob (connected Kansas City and St. Louis)

Missouri Blob

The new blob feature is awesome! I had a couple days off from work this week, so I used Amtrak to hit the last section of Katy Trail that I needed to connect Kansas City and St. Louis. I love seeing the connections made on the map. I do feel compelled to connect the small bits of Chicagoland that I've ridden now.

Does anyone have advice riding from St. Louis to Chicago or the other way around?

Gizzy Gator Cat Toys! Update #1

fellow weirdos,

Does your cat need KGLW merch? Does your cat love nip? Well shucks, we've got just the thing!

I present the initial batch of Gizzy Gator Cat Toys! We source the felt from a secondhand sewing supply shop in St. Louis, we use a copious amount of organic catnip, we designed and printed everything. We have a ton of fun making these cat toys and hope your cats enjoy them as much as we like making them! Results have been overwhelmingly positive so far.

Get yours and share your cat going wild with our friend the Gizzard Gator!

Skid Loader in St. Louis?

Hello Surly Freaks of Reddit,

I’m considering adding another Surly to my partner and I’s fleet. We’ve got a couple of Trek, Bosch-powered bikes and think the skid loader is the perfect addition. I haven’t ridden the bike yet though. It’s perfect on paper. I have a medium Bridge Club and my partner rides a small. We are thinking we would share a medium and that the dropper post will make this doable. She can ride my medium Bridge Club, just prefers the stand over of the small.

Does anyone have experience with both the Bridge Club and Skid Loader? Does anyone know of a shop in the St. Louis region that might have one for a test ride?
