Come take some of my sunflower and Rocky Mountain bee plant seedlings
Last year I had 2 bee plants, and I didn’t realize just how many pods they create and re seed. Each one was enormous and definitely attracted pollinators!
I also have this one patch of sunflowers that goes absolutely bananas. I think there’s some sandy soil or something that they just love … they especially like to get into the edge next to the sidewalk and then follow over so I have to drastically prune their numbers down anyway.
I’ve also got a bunch of cornflower (last pic) which has been receding and spreading nicely, potentially competing with weeds. Those are not a hassle to me, but I’m happy to part with some.
DM me if you’d like to come dig some up!
