Least talkative dance floors other than Nowadays (or Basement)

Something terrible happened to me last weekend at Nowadays, and I need to find somewhere else to dance at least for a while. (I had an incredible freakout which I don't even want to describe, but it was so bad that people who were there would probably recognize my face.) I accept that I won't find another place quite as good, and that's okay, but I'm surprised by just how difficult it has been so far to find a place where I even feel comfortable at all. I'm playing on hard mode anyway because I'm not taking drugs for a while.

Friends and ravers, what have I missed? I'm so sure this can be done, I'm not at all too pretentious to love another club, I just got so used to the ways that Nowadays was good. I know plenty of you have the same tastes/needs and I can't imagine that we are all just going to the same one or two clubs forever?

I had a terrible time at Refuge this weekend (but they are obviously doing a different thing from what I want, and they have sick gigantic disco ball, so absolutely no disrespect I just don't enjoy the more cocaine-ish end of the club spectrum). I'm going to Signal this weekend but I'm a little worried about going on a house night. I might check out Paragon the night after. Can anyone who has spent time at those places speak to this? Do people talk? Are they getting weird w it dancing w true openness even at 11 or 12? Assume I'm always showing up at rsvp times w the intention of staying for hours.

I am hoping to find something more to my taste than Elsewhere or (the non-basement portion of) Knockdown, which I always think of as more like venues for shows (or at least as shining more when serving that function), and again in my experience people are there to hang out. Does that track for others? (I haven't been to either for a few years.) Basement is obviously great, but I feel like I had already had enough of that place for a good little while, and it bothers me how hard it is to get RSVPs.

(The membership+rsvp+special line-jumping card system at nowadays is so good and makes it so easy to go there all the time if you are the sort that has energy to burn. If there is ANYWHERE else that works at all like this I'd sacrifice vibes for the ability to go on a whim. Any leads in that respect would be doubly appreciated.)

I'm sorry if this post is bullshit. I'm really just feeling so fucked up about having this unexpected episode seemingly ruin what had been such a great summer, and appreciating how much that specific club had been doing for my life. Please friends help me fill the hole.

EDIT: thank you all for the supportive conversation and caring advice. I might stop replying out of hitting a point of redundancy.

Just to address one thing, I made the decision that trying to continue to do something I love would be more grounding than uprooting my routines (missing context, I just went through a lot of uproot in the last few years and was hoping i finally found some stability back in new york). It might in fact be true that I need to step away, and if so I will not be able to avoid that conclusion for long. Given everything I know, I don't think I'm a danger to anyone dancing sober (esp since the incident didn't happen on a dance floor, it was in the yard), but I'm trying to be as cautious as possible. I hope I'm not disrespectfully putting others at risk, but since what happened was totally unprecedented, unbelievably bad, and yet still non-violent, I just don't see it the way some of the more cautious comments see it. I agree with Nowadays decision though, just to be clear.

I did not mention this, but I have the ability to spend the rest of August on a farm upstate where I volunteer, and I am seriously considering doing it. I'm not totally un-grounded! I do have a life outside, non-partying hobbies and interests, other friends... I just wanted to try to move on in a certain way in these first raw weeks after this crazy unexpected traumatic thing happened. I hope people can respect that! But you guys are giving me good input for thinking that idea through. Thank you.

EDIT 2: I'm 32 and have no history of mental illness. Prior to this summer I had not taken k or gone to a club for over 2 years, and was doing very different things. I've used m fewer than 10 times in my whole life, probably more like 5. I have a therapist who is a doctor and have been seeing him for years; I do not have an undiagnosed delusional disorder.

I'm prepared to give up all drugs and all club-going if necessary, but I don't think that is the right reaction to this event. I appreciate well-meaning advice, but I don't think some of the more condescending comments are really to the point. I have gotten lots of perspectives on this event too, so it is not just me being in my head. And I am not uneducated when it comes to drugs, nor do i obtain drugs from sketchy unknown sources, particularly not these kinds of drugs. I don't even have a history of problem use. Please, with love and respect, do not comment or message me to share your contrary views on these particular questions.

I guess this post is worth leaving up, so I will! Wish you all the best

Has my phone begun to brick?

I have an old phone (pixel 3) which I don't want to replace until necessary. Wondering if I have just reached that point, and looking for input or (ideally) a way to squeeze another year of use out of it.

So all my google apps and services just stopped working. Google maps won't load anything or show any search results, gmail won't load new emails, calender suddenly says I need to verify my identity with something called a "passkey" (which just leads me in an infinite loop, "something went wrong") so it no longer syncs, and even the pixel buds app just insta-crashes and redirects me to settings (so for example I can't turn noise cancel on/off anymore).

Until recently my phone memory was really full, which I assumed was the problem, but I've cleared 10+ gb and also cleared the caches in all the apps, and restarted the phone etc. No luck.

Does anyone know (a) what might be going wrong or (b) how it might be fixed?
