[LFA] The Entity - A Shapeshifting Horror

A friend of mine roughly sketched out The Entity - a creature in the Legends in the Mist game we are playing.

They are unsettling to look at, instilling fear and dread to those who gaze upon it. Their body is textured somewhere between skin and bark, their head almost skull-like with empty eye sockets. Rows of gnashing, gnawing teeth line some of their limbs.

They also have the ability to consume humans and upon eating their brains, absorb their memories and can assume their appearance, blending in amongst humans.

The Entity used to be a wild and animalistic being, but after hiding amongst humanity, is beginning to develop some humanity themselves. They are attempting to make friends, form relationships, and selectively hunt so that only those who deserve it are consumed.

Freak accident, my sweet boy is gone.

I feel so empty inside. Chopper was 16 years old, had a laundry list of health problems, blind, deaf, Cushings, to name a few. He still was a happy little guy. Excited to get his breakfast and dinner. Excited to go outside and enjoy the sun with his sister. He went outside like usual, and he hangs out there for a while.

I thought nothing of it, but when I went outside, I found him, his neck caught in a set of Christmas lights on a bush we forgot to take down. Wrapped around his poor little neck, hanging from the bush. My poor baby was strangled to death. He died alone and afraid and I hate myself. I feel so hollow right now. My heart hurts.
