CompTIA Security+ or A+.

After being laid off from my job as a software engineer, I am deciding whether to pursue my Security+ certification or the A+ to try to go in a completely different direction with my career while keeping a foot in IT.

Typical interview process

I would like to see how many interviews, are people are being required to attend as part of a common interview process.

So, far I seen six interviews being required for one position not including an online coding assessment.

Interview Limbo

I had this happen a few times.

I interviewed with their HR, it look like it went well. They claimed that they are getting on the hiring manager calendar, then I am ghosted, and my application is forever stuck on “under review “

Mysterious issue.

I have a 2020 Highlander Hybrid, and one day while driving, it suddenly went into limp mode, with various error messages.

I got it to my local dealer, and after 24 hours, they admitted that the entire service department is stumped !

For the record, I kept it in good condition, and over 60,000 miles.

Anyone else experienced this?

Interview experience

I had an interview where I walked the interviewer through a cloud-based app, from end to end. I identified the logic flow and the advantages of the application being in the cloud. Even went into the DevOps side.

The feedback?

"Doesn't seem to have solid cloud-native app experience. "
