Tuesday night around 9pm my internet went completely down despite not having any outages in the area. The weird part is it didn’t go down until we were done streaming tv and going to bed. It didn’t come back online until 3pm the next day but at only 10% of my 1gig plan. When we got home we hooked up our old arris surfboard SVG2482AC and it hooked up no problem but only 50% speed. I took my XB10 over to swap it out, got a new one and tried to hook it up. When trying to activate it the light would flash white but as soon as I tried to activate the signal it would start flashing yellow and go offline. I spent 2 hours on support for them to tell me they can’t do anything but send a technician 9 days from now. Why would our old gateway work at half speed but the one directly from xfinity doesn’t even stay online?

I’m looking at buying a series s for truly only mlb the show 26. I don’t care about playing online, I only care about single player gaming. So if that’s the case, do I have to pay for Xbox live or gamepass to be able to play mlb the show? Or will I be able to just buy the console and the game and that’s it?
