I’m planning my first solo motorcycle trip to Ladakh from 28 August to 4 September 2026.
I’ll be flying into Leh on 28 August around 8 AM and planning to spend 2 full days acclimatizing in Leh.
My current plan is:
28 Aug: Arrive Leh + complete rest
29 Aug: Acclimatization/local Leh
30 Aug: Leh → Khardung La → Diskit/Hunder
31 Aug: Hunder/Diskit → Siachen Base Camp → back to Nubra
1 Sep: Nubra → Agham → Shyok → Durbuk → Pangong
2 Sep: Pangong → Leh
3 Sep: Buffer/rest day in Leh
4 Sep: Flight from Leh

I’ll be riding a Himalayan 411 and travelling solo.

Will this work?
Any suggestions if I’m missing out something or need to remove something

Obviously we can alter this,

Planning to rent a Himalayan and stay mostly in hostels/dorms. Looking for 1–3 people around the same dates who want to ride together, split some costs and explore.
I’m flexible with the exact itinerary, but safety > rushing through places.

Budget: Budget/mid-range
Bike: Himalayan
