Gave Mercy a try and the enemies kept forgetting I exist

I've been playing OW off and on since release but in the past 10 years I've only put in about 1000 hours. Never really played Mercy, especially since OW2 dropped, she's currently level 4 on my account (I main Lifeweaver, Brig, Kiri) but with the flash heal change I figured I'd see what she's like now. I had such a crazy experience with her, and finally felt what one of my biggest frustrations was when going against an enemy team with a Mercy...

The enemies pretty much forgot I exist.

The only time I was ever truly a target was some solo ults with a Tire, but other than that, I pretty much just flew around healing and damage boosting almost uncontested. Of course I'd make some mistakes too, flying in a little too deep to keep someone alive which I couldn't do and I'd end up dead as well.

And the amount of times my tank or DPS would die and the enemy would just walk away giving me a free rez was shocking. Like, they HAD to have seen my staff healing them and knew I was in the area knowing that a rez is possible, but they just never really cared...they'd turn their back to me and I'd get my teammate back up.

In the post-game voting screen after my first game as Mercy, my whole team INSTANTLY upvoted me. I've never seen an instant MVP given before. And for the record, I'm NOT saying she's easy to play. Game sense, positioning, and planning your target priority ahead of time is so important. You have to understand what you believe the enemy will do next, where they're coming from, who'd benefit from a damage boost most, etc.

So I almost hate to say it, and I know that four games in a row in Mercy shouldn't make a sweeping assumption even though I've seen it when versing Mercy, but guys...Mercy is in the lobby too and is likely looking for rez opportunities. Make her a priority too, because the sense of freedom I had to just do whatever I wanted was almost scary.

I'm looking for this sub's honest take on my recent lease return experience, if I am at fault here or what I should have done differently.

About a year and a half ago, my leased 2023 C40 got an "20,000 mile maintenance overdue" notification at month 21 of my 36 month lease (I returned the car early). I had 8,500 miles on it. I called the dealership, Kline Volvo in Maplewood Minnesota to get the maintenance done per the notification, and the service department told me not to bring the car in for maintenance, and that because I'm leasing the car and got that maintenance done early, it would throw off future notifications for whoever owns the car after me. When I pushed back saying "Wait, so I'm just supposed to deal with this notification for the rest of my lease? There's no way I'll hit 20,000 miles before I turn it in," the guy replied "Sorry, nothing we can do.

Stunned by that response, I posted this question on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/VolvoRecharge/comments/1jo994p/any_way_to_stop_overdue_service_notifications/ The advice I received was that the notification was time-based and that I should bring it in for service anyway.

So I called the dealership again that day to get the maintenance scheduled and they continued to tell me it's not necessary until I hit 20,000 miles and that they won't service the car until it hits that number. Defeated, I figured that was that...I'll just have to deal with the constant "overdue service" notification everytime I start the car or open the Volvo app.

Flash forward to a month after I turned in the lease and I receive a $70 bill from Volvo Financial Services for "excessive wear and tear." There were no pictures that showed any excessive wear and tear, so when I called VFS to get more information, they said it was due to the "overdue maintenance notification being on" and that I didn't uphold the vehicle's regular maintenance schedule.

Of course I'm furious. I feel like I did my due diligence and tried to schedule that maintenance twice and was turned away both times. When I contacted the dealership's management about the issue requesting that money back, I just kept getting the runaround for a few months; "Oh so sorry to hear about the experience, let us check to see what we can do," "That sounds so frustrating, we're going to look into this," conversations never got anywhere and I gave up.

Of course $70 isn't breaking my bank, but what should I have done differently? Should I escalate this somehow with Volvo corporate? File a BBB complaint? I'm not currently driving a Volvo so I don't have a relationship with the dealership at this moment besides the main point of contact who kept giving me the runaround.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
