Ashi guruma drill

Hi everyone I recently started looking at ashi guruma and was left wondering what the best way to practice the throw alone is, does anybody know any drills or workouts that might help, since currently I'm struggling to pull it off in randori

Gotta love gender equality in judo

(this post is based on my own experience)

It recently dawned on me that the attention and the money in judo is very evenly split between the men's and the women's divisions, even without programs to promote women in judo

Another reason to live this beautiful sport, anyone got any idea why this is?

Tired of my disabled sister

Context: I (16m) have a sister (13) who suffers from a neurological condition that causes her to be unable to walk, talk, swallow, or hold things (Rett syndrome)

I am tired of her. I am tired of helping my mother change her diapers on a random sidewalk when going out, tired of cleaning up puke from the car, tired of spending hours in hospitals and doctor's offices, tired of cancelling plans because her epilepsy is acting up again or because she has undergone surgery for the third time this year. Just tired of all of it.

I love my sister very much and I understand that my parents are trying to do what they can but I just can't take it anymore sometimes. The thought of what my life would have been like if she hadn't been disabled wanders through my mind as well as the thought of what I will do when my parents can no longer care for her.

I'm just fed up.
