I finally got a job in the field I graduated in after finishing college 8 months ago! But now I’m really nervous about it lmao

This is a redo of the previous “let’s hold tryouts” post. I just didn’t like it. It was supposed to be an invasion of a gang that then gets knocked out by Joker and Harley, but it sucked in my eyes. Joker and Harley were too passive. Although the One Piece guy was emotive, he didn’t really carry the scene. The music, I think, bottlenecked my reach for it being too old and unpopular (it was a movie theme). Not only that, but the theme didn’t convey that gravitas of what’s happening. It felt like noise and not panic.

So now in this remake, they both are more active in the takeover. Through the use of Harley’s “acrobatics”, Joker’s laughing gas, and the yellow shirt guy’s facial expressions, I hope this time I was able to convey more through these pieces of plastic trash. The “action” was very time-consuming, and while still amateurish, I think I was able to show action. Next is the music, which while still a movie theme (rip my views), I still feel iffy on it. There definitely is more punch, and the song stopping when the laughing gas is released is perfect. I do not think it perfectly fits what’s happening.

I like films and stop motion, but I’m not good at them. Still, I hope you enjoy my attempt though :)

A bit of irl lore but I decided to scrap my Revoltech Batman for parts because recently I got the LPZZ Arkham Knight Batman. So in my collection’s cannon it’s missing one of its protectors. Thus all my Batman villains are running a muck. My collection has fallen in chaos and there is a villain who has begun an aggressive expansion. Unfortunately some do not make the cut.

Also I really like movie soundtracks for scenes. They sometimes convey so much more. I kinda hope I made this little shoot a bit more tense.

Yeah i impulsively bought the LPZZ Arkham Bats the moment it got in stock at bombusbee

I scrapped the revo bats parts for other revo figs I got. Like this Deadpool’s legs suck ass so now I fused the fixed batman legs with this guy. Now i made a more normal fig :)

So yeah yall convinced me to get the LPZZ bats but I couldn’t wait for Hush or Arkham City Batmen

I got convinced this is the best Arkham Batman. I insta caved into buying it. I couldn’t even wait for the Arkham City one I grew up with.

Literally yesterday bombusbee put this guy for sale again and I immediately got it. Like not a single thought just “GET IT NOW!!!”

These figs are scarily good. Like some figure builds can’t even hold a candle to these figs and it’s crazy. Their articulation is astonishing great. Their details are crazy close to the original art or comic they come from.

Only issue is that they’re slowly loosing the amount of accessories. Like the red one (mizuki… I think is its name) had a whole bunch of accessories and a DLC-like expansion box with a few more accessories. Then with the Succubus Lisbeth it’s dies down to like a tail and wings (kinda lame) and now with this… uhm… tall lady it’s some (purposefully) loose soft goods.

Kinda wish there’d been more accessories for these newer releases. So, is there people making custom accessories for these figs? I kinda wanna get some for these ladies they’re too good to leave bare yk.

Revoltech’s Slade has the most garbage knees known to figure kind but like aura yk… also his face could be a really good MGS Snake

My issue with Revoltech’s Bats is that he has QC issues.

Con:
- right leg is loose as heck
- shoulder joints leading to the arms are stuck bad (like they don’t twist)
- shoulder pads broke off (I fixed it)
- Cape is really annoying (originally the cape had too many wires making it all stiff and natural. I removed a few for better fluidity)
- his face is really chudly (his face is goofy because of the moveable eyes)
- Other figures are the same height as this one (which is good he doesn’t un-scale my collection) but he is oddly short and stubby
- missing a grapple… also has the lamest grapple from the game (Arkham Asylum ball knowers rise)

Pros:
- literally my favorite Batman (I love the Arkham Games)
- the look is perfect (from a far his face is still goofy and unless I’m doing camera tricks he’s kinda short and stubby)
- after some alterations he is EXTREMELY flexible + cape fluidity

But the LPZZ one hasn’t really sold me can yall help me figure this out. Tell me your experiences with the LPZZ bats. What’s it downsides and upsides. I wanna know it all.

I was poking around in my preorder list and u saw this “wholesome” lady. i noticed that for AmiAmi she’s supposed to come out right now, this month of June.

But obviously this lovely lady has not been shipped!

I looked at the official Second Axe seller Fantazia and for them these ladies are going to start to be shipped TODAY! Yep, today June 30, 2026.

After some delays and possibly more delays to come for other sellers like AmiAmi. She’ll finally be released!!!

In other words I think that because from the official seller is finally shipping her. Third party sellers like AmiAmi are finally also going to begin to ship, obviously later.

I have been thinking about maybe getting these Bunny Girls and the weird Tentacle things but I’m wondering if they are worth the investment? What are your opinions on Sushing (the company making these figs)?

I’m planning on getting other figures but recently these tentacles things, especially the pink flower one have been very interesting for my growing horror fig collection. What I didn’t know was the girlies came from the same people. I’ve been thinking about also getting these girlies because I really love their accessories and their hands (they come with like 9 sets of unique hands. I’m not Kira from Jojo).

They seem cool but I wanna know the opinions of those who actually own these figs.

I recently watched the Backrooms movie and something my brother and I found was our kitchen chairs (image 1 and 3).

What was even funnier (or strange) is that these chairs are older than I am (I’m 24 btw), so I literally do not have a memory when we got them. What’s worst is that my parents also do not remember. But the only place I know we would’ve gotten our furniture was from a place called El Curacao (image 4). A big ol’ furniture store.

The reason that I mention this place is because weirdly enough I had my own backrooms experience because of that place. Once when I was a kid my dad loved going to this place to do parent stuff yk like paying installments for a TV and other Curacao stuff (if you’re Hispanic/Latino yk what I mean), so to kill some time I would go out and explore this huge place. Checking out the bedroom, living room, bathroom, other room’s furniture, electronic section, the early 2000’s radio car section and the legendary Pollo Campero.

We typically went in the mornings (8:00am or 10:00am) because the place was kinda far and we had a lot of errands to run every Sunday. So this place was empty when I went exploring.

Some odd design details about this place is that although it’s an open space where if you stand in either end of the store you can directly see the opposite side. It’s instead obscured by the amount of stuff infront of you. You can’t even walk 5 feet before running into a cabinet or bed frame. Ultimately this open space becomes a crazy maze of stuff. Making a 5 minute walk to any section into a 10 minute one.

Another strange thing is that this place doesn’t have windows. Or at least the place I went to did not have windows. It did have window frames and some wallpaper that plays the role of the outside but isn’t. (Check the last image to get an idea of what it looks like).

What’s weird is that this place wasn’t scary at all for me. Matter of fact it was comfy. Sure it was really empty compared to the times my dad and I got there midday. Seeing and hearing a loud packed furniture store. And also kinda eerie when you chill on one of the million of couches and hear an odd noise a far or from a place you recently visited. Or when there’s was a blackout (funnily enough I was there for 5 other blackouts). It was terrifying. This comfy place suddenly going black and some red LED lights barely shining through the darkness. Or other times you see a shadow from the corner of your eyes. Sometimes you try to find that shadow other times it tries to follow you. Ultimately being nothing, I hope.

Strangely enough while watching the backrooms movie this same comfy and slight wary feeling returned. It made me wonder about the backroom of the Curacao and the chairs. From all my time exploring I never remember finding my kitchen chairs nor what’s in the backroom of that place. But I do remember getting in trouble for going there. I wonder where my chairs come from.
