I understand there was a significant power outage on the east side last week I thought I read about rolling outages. . I'm coming next week and am curious what to expect. Are there rolling outages? If so how long do they last? Is there a schedule? I would like to be prepared with a plan of maybe where not to go if there will be no power at certain times. TIA.

My wife and I are staying in St. Thomas. She would like to take a day trip to St. John. We will be taking the people ferry over. Is it really worth it to do a day trip? What are suggestions of things to do?
