I’ve played Emerald a lot of times but never gone beyond 4 gym badges. So, in short, I’ve never gotten very far. Not because I found it hard, more I just got fatigue.

I’d put it down for a few weeks or months, return where I left off and decide to start again. The loop has repeated for a few years.

Today, that changed. I beat Norman. I obtained Surf, and taught it to Swampert.

I wonder, where is the first place you go when you learn Surf ?
