Kingfisher dislikes Astarion's romance in the game.

I love to dig through the game files and compare companions' reactions to different events. This one I found funny. It's after fighting duergar on the boat and arriving to Grymforge. Everyone is like: "Boss, I am tired!". Even your barbarian. And Lae is like: "I can do it all day!"
Typical Lae'Zel.
So I decided to try something different this run and lied to Lorroakan that the Nightsong is dead.
Every single companion (even Minthara!): want to see Aylin kick his butt and can't believe how stupid Lorroakan is to want to imprison the Nightsong after Ketheric's defeat.
Gale:
And behold, not long after I get this banter:
Jaheira: So you wish to be a god, Gale? You know the wizard Irenicus attempted the same thing, by leeching divine blood from a Bhaalspawn.
Gale: Aha, transfusion! An interesting strategy. Hard to get hold of a god's blood, of course, but if one could...
Jaheira: He managed it. After murdering my husband, and torturing my friends and I for half a year.
Gale: Did I say interesting? I meant terrible, of course. A terrible strategy...
Every time I replay this game, I am weirded out by Minthara advocating for accepting Bhaal and Shar. The whole point is that she knows that gods are 'fickle', they can't be trusted, they discard their followers like broken toys. She hates Lolth now. And yet this girl is the only one companion who is disappointed that Shadowheart spared Aylin.
Yep, the displacer beast Yurgir has been raping. Find out today that apparently many people don't know about it and decided to share. Convince Yurgir that you are gonna help him solve his problem and then go interact with Nessa - pass animal handling check and choose to scratch her behind the ears. Now I feel bad for killing her in my other runs. But you can convince her to turn against Yurgir, if you prove to her that he was putting love potion into her food.
So I've seen tons of people excusing Minthara's actions under the Absolute by the "she was controlled", but apparently, no one cares that Nere is tadpoled and controlled as well. It's understandable, because he is not one of our possible companions, but I also find it interesting that the game never actually suggests we should disregard everything he does just because he has a tadpole in his head. You never break any paladin's oaths for killing him and it looks like the game implies him being awful to slaves is all his own doing and not something he is forced into by the Absolute. To add to that, none of the good companions want to save him:
Karlach also says that we should only save him for the sake of the gnomes, and it happens before she sees how he treats them.
