Yesterday's Student Protest: Thank You to Everyone Who Showed Up
Yesterday's student protest (22nd of July) at the Collector Office was a powerful example of what can happen when young people come together for a common cause.
What began as a small online campaign quickly gained massive traction across social media, and that support translated into real participation. Hundreds of students gathered peacefully, proving that student voices deserve to be heard.
The protest also had support from the Akola Hip-hop community. Although permission for speakers and microphones wasn't granted, that didn't stop the spirit of the event
Most importantly, the protest remained peaceful, disciplined, and student-led throughout. It demonstrated that students can organize responsibly while standing up for transparency, fairness, and their rights.
A huge thank you to every student who attended, volunteered, shared posts, helped organize, documented the event, or supported the movement in any way. Every contribution mattered.
