I'm an academic researcher in Australia. I've come across a reference in the New York Times to a man from Akola named Gopilal Sharma who rode a motorcycle around the world in 1955–56 with his 16-year-old daughter Chandrakala. They were Congress people — he was secretary of the Akola Nagar Congress Committee. Chandrakala would be 87 by now.

Does anyone recognise the name, or know a family, or know who keeps Akola’s old records?

This post was made because of yesterday's event of a guy stabbing a person because of a dispute between them,

All i want to ask is if i get into an argument is it that easy for the person to stab me and cripple or worse send me to my grave?

Where is the police that promised us the safety?

I have a 700sqft empty space in the prime area to be utilised any franchise or business which isn't there or even if it's there yet not at its full potential that would work best in Akola. Please suggest something.
