We have had problems with the keys from the beginning. Car wouldnt unlock despite standing next to the vehicle with the fob, car would suddenly lock while the boot was already open and I was standing next to the car. That stuff. Then finally the digital key was introduced to Android, all problems were solved. Until one day the car decided that it wont recognize my phone (Pixel 9 Pro XL). So back to the damn keyfob.
Then we had the keyfob replaced by Volvo under warranty. It didnt work, it only got worse.
This morning it came to a low. While inside the car, it wouldnt start. The keyfob in my pocket, then in my hands, then on the charge pad. It just wouldnt start. Then my phone on the charge pad, still nothing.
I walked away from the car, it locked, and then it refused to unlock. Luckily the Volvo app was on my phone which I had in my pocket, so I was able to unlock the vehicle. Still, it refused to start.
Walked away and 15 minutes later I came back and suddenly all worked fine.
This piece of ** is driving me nuts.
Is there a solution?
