This morning an amazon delivery driver was continuously buzzing my intercom. I got up panicked thinking something was wrong because who in their right fucking mind delivers that early but no I looked out my window and it was amazon. I wasn’t able to fall back asleep and i’m lowkey pissed. Has anyone else had this happen or is this a one off thing?

I’m getting hip surgery (called a PAO) this Monday and will be recovering at my parents house in NJ for a week or 2 but then will be returning to the city after. I will be on crutches for about 3 months and am nervous about getting around, especially since not every subway is accessible. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!!
Finally got my surgery date today and it will be on May 18th. I had to go with the earliest date available due to insurance issues, however, I feel like I have very little time to prepare physically and mentally. Sadly this is the only route available, i’m a newly licensed RN and need surgery to be able to work 12h shifts on my feet. Any advice?
