944 recruiter searches, 15+ applications a day, still 0 interviews what am I missing?

Please somebody help 😭 😭

I’m honestly confused about where I’m going wrong.

I have around 1.5+ years of experience, currently working at abc as Application Developer. My stack is mainly Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, TypeScript, SQL, Kafka, Redis, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.

I’m currently serving notice and my last working day is September 3.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been applying to 15+ jobs every day, mostly roles that actually match my experience — Java Backend, Software Engineer and Full Stack roles.

Still, I’m barely getting any calls, let alone interviews.

What’s confusing is that Naukri shows 944 recruiter search appearances in the last 90 days, so recruiters are clearly finding my profile.

My profile has my experience, projects, skills, GitHub/LinkedIn, AWS + Red Hat certifications, updated resume, and notice period.

So where could I be going wrong?

Is 1.5 YOE making it difficult right now?

Should I position myself only as a Node js Backend Developer or as python full stack instead of Full Stack? Or should I stop relying so much on job portals and focus more on referrals/recruiter DMs? This also i tried but recieved no response

Would really appreciate advice from people who recently switched jobs in India.

Want to reschedule TCS joining date have not resigned yet

Hi everyone,

I recently received a joining letter from TCS and have been asked to join on 25 june. However, I am currently working with another organization and need to serve a 90-day notice period. My resignation process is currently underway i have not resigned yet, and because of that, I have requested TCS to reschedule my joining date to September.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who has gone through a similar situation:

  1. Does TCS generally approve joining date reschedule requests due to notice period obligations?

  2. If the joining date is rescheduled by a few months, does the allocated work location remain the same, or can it change?

  3. Has anyone experienced any issues with onboarding after requesting a reschedule?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
