If you've ever travelled back to Siliguri from Kathmandu via bus or airplane, what in your opinion is the best way to travel and are there any details i should know about? Timings, bus model, total hours of travel, etc. Please do let me know about your experience. I will be returning on a Monday and have to be on Siliguri by Tuesday.

I'll be coming to Kathmandu for a week. Please suggest some good cafes, places i should visit and things i could do in a week. I would also appreciate it if i could receive recommendations for book stores and clothings and accessories (gender doesn't matter), apps to install, random things to do as an outsider and some places where i can buy cool random stuff that'll appeal to my nerdy/geeky side. I just listened to Virginia Avenue by Tom Waits and the piano lick instantly reminded me of "Who's There?" by Shoji Meguro. Is it just a common piano lick in jazz songs or do you all think that there's a possibility that Shoji-san was inspired by that song?
