I did my UG in Chennai and stayed in a rented house, so I bought a second-hand, 2010 make Hero Honda Passion Pro. The seller said it would give 55 kmpl, so I thought it would be perfect for my daily commute. Plus, I trusted that Hero Honda bikes were highly reliable.
But well, what we expect to happen rarely actually happens, right?

Finally, the year ended, and it was time to vacate the house and take the bike back. My Appa told me to parcel it, either through IRCTC or a nearby parcel agency. I inquired about the cost estimation for a 500 km distance. And personally I wasn't satisfied with how IRCTC handled things, and the parcel agencies demanded ₹2,200.
Frustrated by the thought of spending thousands more on this bike, I made a decision: I drove it all the way home by myself 😁
without informing my parent till halfway (cuz I know they won't allow me)
Got ready to leave at 5 in the morning, filled the tank with 10 liters of petrol and shared my live location to my friends 🙂↕️
And yes, I started to leave from Chennai, It was drizzling so no impact of scorching sun, and I took a rest of 10 mins every 100km for me and bike, Hydration 100%, stretched myself at every rest stop to avoid body pain
