Monsoon evenings and homemade masala chai are a combination I can never get tired of.
I make mine with fresh ginger, cardamom, a little black pepper, and strong tea leaves simmered slowly until the kitchen smells amazing.
It's one of those small everyday rituals that instantly makes the day feel better

His acts of love is cooking foods that suit my palette that’s completely opposite to his.
My body cannot handle spicy food, which my husband absolutely loves. But at least twice a week, he makes it a point to feed me something absolutely delicious that he cooks me.
A little background, he loves non-vegetarian and spicy food and for me, I prefer bland or food with less masalas.
This is noodles in Coconut milk, some spices, spring onions with black pepper, and white til. This has somehow become one of my favourite dishes.
Chicken masala dry
One of my buddies turned up at my place to watch Paraguay vs France last night.
He brought along a bottle of gin. So had to cook this spicy chicken dish to serve as chakhna.
Surprisingly, it was going well along with the citrus-forward gin.
