Nobody warns you how HUGE an office chair feels until you live in a small apartment

Every chair review talks about lumbar support and seat comfort.

Meanwhile, my actual problem is geometry.

Small desk, bed about three feet away, and one wall I can't move unless I develop construction skills overnight.

Suddenly, a chair being a few inches wider matters WAY more than I expected.

Same with the armrests.

A chair can feel amazing and still annoy you every single day if you have to drag it halfway into the room just to stand up.

That's changed the way I'm comparing chairs now.

I was looking at Branch, HON, and the NOUHAUS Apertura, and I realized I cared way more about the boring, everyday stuff than I expected.

The Apertura's 3D arms caught my attention because being able to adjust them around the desk actually matters in a room this tight. Same with the casters—I'm constantly moving the chair a few inches just to get around.

So now my chair checklist is basically:

- Can I push it under the desk?

- Can I turn around without hitting the bed?

- Can the arms get out of the way?

- Can I roll backward without taking out the laundry basket?

- And preferably, can I do all of this without destroying the hardwood floor?

Apparently, apartment ergonomics is 50% posture and 50% Tetris.

I was overthinking the shot list for the dumbest reason

I was putting together a little cooking short in Framia and halfway through, I realized I was making the storyboard way more complicated than it needed to be.

Mushrooms? Chop them. Eggs? Mix them. Butter in the pan. Cook everything. Plate it.

And I was like… wait, that’s literally the recipe lol.

I didn’t even need to create some elaborate storyboard. The recipe was already telling me exactly what to shoot next.

Seems so obvious now 😂 but somehow I was making it way harder than it had to be.

Does anyone else just turn the recipe steps directly into a shot list for stuff like this, or was I the only one who needed this realization? lol
