Need advice
Hello!
I’m a beginner looking to buy my first coffee apparatus. I usually drink an iced milk-based coffee, so my only option outside of an espresso machine seems to be a 2 cup Moka Pot (hoping to spend around 2000 since I’m just starting out). I’ve researched all other budget friendly methods - aeropress/kaldipress, french press, pour over; but they’re not for milk-based coffee from what I understand.
I’m pretty overwhelmed and confused with all the conversation around the risks, brands, etc. with a Moka Pot as well.
My questions are:
- Are there other budget options apart from a Moka Pot? (I know of the Agaro portable espresso maker which is currently priced around 3000).
- Is Moka Pot a safe enough choice to begin with?
- Do I buy a Pedrini/Bialetti or will something like this do: https://amzn.in/d/0ijkhUkM
- If there is a much better alternative at a slight increase in budget, I’m open to considering it.
Oh, and I plan on directly buying ground coffee for my type of equipment for now (even though it’s not ideal).
