Why are panel stands so expensive?
I was looking at stands for my red light panel but they cost $200+. Anyone know why they are so expensive and where i can get a cheaper one?

I price-matched a diamond with Rare Carat, but now they’re saying all other discounts are void. Because of that, the setting I wanted jumped from $1,260 to $2,100.
Has anyone else experienced this? They advertise price matching everywhere, but it feels like a bait-and-switch when the cost gets pushed into the setting.
If I only wanted the diamond, I wouldn’t have bothered with the price match, I would’ve just bought it from the cheaper company. I’ve been looking at Rare Carat settings for two weeks and finally settled on one, so it’s really frustrating to now be told I have to pay full price for the setting.
Hi everyone,
After doing a lot of research, I’ve learned how to price-match diamonds across different sites and find great deals on loose stones but the cost of settings are so expensive!
I’m currently considering a 2 ct oval diamond for around $500, but setting prices seem to start at $1,500, and that’s for the most basic options. At some places, like Rare Carat, the settings I like are closer to $2,500.
Where would you recommend getting a ring setting done? Quality is my top priority, but price is definitely an important factor as well.
I’m looking for an 18k yellow gold setting, ideally with a hidden halo and possibly a pavé band.
Thanks in advance!
