can't see any of my data then subsequent sign ins say "The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in."

Pretty much what the text says. Windows was not loading up and when they did there was no data. Once we reset it says User Profile Service failed. System restore points were not available.

Your templates for Development Notes?

Hello! I am wondering if some of you could share your templates for how you keep track of your updates and how you maintain development notes. I would really appreciate any help in this direction.

Whatsapp said 'calling' not ringing -- possible reasons

If you call someone on Whatsapp, and it shows 'calling' every time you call over several hours (but you can send text messages fine, double tick and all), that means they were on a call, right?

In other words, normally, when you call someone on Whatsapp it shows you the word 'ringing'. What are the reasons it may not show that but show 'calling' instead when the signal was clearly good?

F36 south asian woman with chronic migraines now facing memory issues.

Migraines or something else affecting my (functional?) memory

I am trying to get a neurology referral, but I am so wigged out by the way my brain is working these days. For context: I have had migraine attacks on and off since I was 7 but it's been chronic for the last few years. I sometimes wake up and forget how to do things that I have done for years. For example, the ctrl+w shortcut is basically my most used shortcut on the computer because of my 100000000 tabs. I got on my computer today and suddenly I didn't remember what I used to do to shutdown a tab! I had a similar thing the other day, when I got on a bus and forgot that I had to scan my day ticket. Any insight would be helpful. I am 36F.

36F - What's happening to my brain? I feel like it's stopping working and slowly dying

I 36F short and overweight (trying to lose weight but I think I have developed insulin resistance or just overall high cortisol or something else that contributes to weight gain despite lifestyle changes). I have chronic migraines, diagnosed ADHD, visible endometrial lesions, possibly some PCOS acc to my gynae, my GP agrees that I might have hypermobility and the rheumatologist she wrote to also agreed, I have been sleeping really poorly especially from November onwards. I lost almost 9lbs/5 kilos between July and November but not much more since.

I don't drink or smoke and I have been off my ADHD medications for a while now because they didn't suit me (resulted in more bp and migraines). I was taking propranolol for 1.5 years but stopped when the symptoms below started appearing as I wondered if there was a link. When I was taking propranolol I didn't have painful migraines but still felt aura/pressure once every few weeks.

My main symptoms that I am very alarmed by are a massive reduction in executive function, feeling dissociated/foggy and really terrible short term memory. It's become so bad that I have stopped using instagram for more than a few minutes everyday (and mostly just use it for texting now). I have also stopped using autocorrect on my iphone just in case these may be contributing to the issue.

I had a bit of a nervous breakdown during covid times and had a very rough time after that and in some ways that's when I lost all the things that were keeping me together mentally and emotionally. However, I have been slowly working to rebuild my capacity. I started working twice a week and finished my MA (got a prize for it) and slowly increased my work times/hours after that. However, last summer I started feeling concerned about my memory issues and now it's almost suddenly gotten to the point that I am worried about how I will act/behave at work.

A lot of my issues are also coming out in terms of communication. For example, I woke up this morning and saw my child was doing something. I meant to tell him to stand up but first told him wake up then corrected myself and said stand up. Later, he asked me about whether he could listen to a podcast and I said yes you can listen to the [stammer] password .. podcast..

I also have similar issues writing out a simple email. For example, I wrote 'beginning' instead of 'building' and didn't even notice it. Here are two pages from my symptom diary and I can share more if needed.

05/05/26 5 hours of sleep  No amitriptyline Short term memory - pulled out a tab into window and then kept looking for it  Losing thread of words  Couldn’t remember what i did on Sunday.  Tongue  Couldn’t remember where you would see my wave on Zoom  Misreading time 13 vs 14  Pot slipped out of hand
07/05/26 5mg amitriptyline 8+ hours of sleep Struggling to remember words Less dissociated  Losing track of work I am doing  5th instead of 10th  Not doing logical sequence of work –like checking for updates/not thinking through context  only example of legal positive discrimination – could not string together this sentence  11: am  Said stupid w/out intending to and not knowing that i said it
