60-80 second video for an award ceremony. Need help with ideas!

Hey, i lead Marketing at a fintech company. We have been asked for an 60-80 second video for an award ceremony where all finalists will provide one. The whole public will then vote for winner based on those videos that will be displayed during the gala. Basically, we have that time to explain why we should win the award/s. The problem is time, the video needs to be submitted in 4 days (Tuesday July 7th). I've spoken with multiple videographers and producers and all have told me the deadline is undoable. We currently don't have an explainer video. We have the narrative done and it will 100% need voiceover which we already have recorded. Problem is what we fill the video with. We do not have an editor, videographer or motion graphics designer in house.

Any out of the box ideas for something that will look decent and not cringe?

Lane change assist new?

Today I updated my Formentor pre-facelift with latest software and it seems to now do lane change by itself with Travel Assist? That was not the case before today. Anyone else?

Estimated repair cost?

I hit a column in a parking spot yesterday. What would you say the repair cost will be?

Thanks!

Would you trade a 2023 Cupra Formentor VZ eHybrid for a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD 1:1?

Hi everyone,

I currently own a 2023 Cupra Formentor VZ eHybrid 245hp, with around 32,000 km, in excellent condition. I bought it recently and honestly I really like the car: it looks great, feels premium enough, is comfortable, quick, and the plug-in hybrid setup works very well, to the point I use it in that mode for 85% of the time.

With that said, I’m starting to question whether it’s the right car for my actual usage.

Most of my driving is daily commuting and short/medium trips, and I’m finding that I use it mostly in electric mode. I almost never really take advantage of the full 245hp hybrid powertrain. I also have home charging available, so running electric day to day is very convenient for me.

There’s a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD / Dual Motor for sale near me, with around 45,000 km, listed at roughly the same value as my Formentor. In theory, I might be able to do a 1:1 trade, or very close to it.

The Tesla appeals to me because:

  • full EV would probably fit my usage better
  • much better electric range
  • stronger tech/software experience
  • lower day-to-day running costs
  • very strong performance
  • I’ve always been a bit of a Tesla/tech enthusiast (despite hating Elon and all he stands for...)

But I also know I’d be giving up some things:

  • the Formentor’s crossover/SUV driving position
  • hatchback practicality
  • newer car, 2023 vs 2022
  • PHEV flexibility for longer trips
  • Cupra design and interior feel (I do like the minimalism of the Tesla though)
  • potentially fewer worries around battery degradation / EV resale uncertainty

For those of you who own or have owned a Formentor, especially the eHybrid: would you make this trade?

Would you see the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD as an upgrade, or would you keep the Formentor because it’s newer, more practical and more versatile?

I’m not unhappy with the Cupra at all. It’s more that I’m wondering whether the Tesla is simply the more rational car for my real-world usage.

Curious to hear honest opinions, especially from people who have experience with both Cupra/VW Group PHEVs and Tesla EVs.
