Don't have the part myself so I took some screens of their shared look.

Curry Barker: It is a possession movie and Nikki might have given Bear a shot

So, two common discussions that crop up about this film are:

1. What would have happened if Bear has said yes the first time?

>"I actually feel like if you rewatch the moment where she point blank asks "do you have feelings for me?" and he says "I think we're good friends" and you look back at her, you can see this disappointment (Inde nods) as she goes "okay.... good!". When she says "...good!" you can almost tell that she's saying like... that she's almost disappointed.

>And so the answer is that if he would have just had the guts to ask her she might have actually at least given him a chance."

The answer is, he could have had a chance. Curry has said they filmed two takes for various scenes, one showing signs Nikki was into Bear and another the opposite, then spliced them together. They did this to create ambiguity, and I think it was said that it was to show how it felt from Bear's perspective.

What we know for sure is that there was a possibility she would have said yes.

2. Is Nikki Possessed?

>I never wanted it to feel like a possession movie too much. It is a possession movie at the end of the day, but it's a different type of possession movie.

>I didn't want it to feel like she was a demon. I wanted it to feel like she was just a normal person who is really obsessed with a person and and almost how far is the craziest of people willing to go.

So, she is possessed. It's just not a typical demonic possession.

I thought anyone who hadn't seen these clips might be interested.

If anyone has any more clips from Curry explaining elements of the film, it would be good to share them.

[Ember] Kitsune

A slight rework. Added the Culpa Syandana for some extra shape. Wanted to keep this simple to accentuate the form of Ember's Heirloom skin and create a Fox type vibe. Details in the second slide if you'd like them.

[Wisp] Kaiju / Tech Witch

My two favourite Wisp fashions atm. I like black and white with splashes of colour.

I'm drawing for at least a couple of hours ever day and I've been lucky enough to be able to put in 8 hour days often. It's become the main thing I do with my spare time. I do a lot of study, anatomy, gestures/poses, perspective, etc... sometimes I spend an entire week on these things.

Obviously, there's a lot more work in between these pieces that I didn't post as there's a 20 image limit, tried to pick ones that showed my growth curve the best.

I still very much feel like a beginner, but I'm starting to see the hard work pay off. Still have a long way to go but seeing the progress laid out like this has helped a lot with self doubt.

12 and 16 are copies of pieces by the artist Deathburger.
19 is a copy of a panel from Shaolin Cowboy: Cruel to be Kin by Geoff Darrow.
The sketches of anatomy are from random references.
The other finished pieces are original work.

I'm pretty new to digital (6 months or so in). Trying to figure out a way to make the suit look like rounded and shiny. I think at a glance it looks okay but I'm not quite understanding something.

I originally tried shading each piece of the armour anatomy in a more linear way (each part shaded from one side to the other dark to light), but it looked really bad.

Any advice welcome!
