I noticed that the aquarium of the pacific holds educational lectures on the first wednesday of every month. I'm wondering if there's other opportunities like this. Thank you
I want to make the most of my visit to the OC Fair! Thanks!
Hi there, it's my first time trapping a semi feral cat and I'm looking for some clarification. Our spay is this Wednesday morning so we're going to try all day tomorrow to get her in the trap!!
They told me to zip tie the trap open with food, which I've done. I'm going to move the food closer to the trap, and then into the entry. Tomorrow, I will put the food all the way at the end past the trip plate.
They told me to either place 10 or 12 pieces of newspaper or a thin piece of cardboard on the bottom of the trap. Check!
What I'm confused about is that they told me to put paper towels "over and behind the trip plate." I asked for clarification but didn't really get anywhere.
So I cut the cardboard piece into two pieces and put a piece of paper towel over the trip plate, between the cardboard pieces. But if I put any underneath the trip plate, I don't know what the purpose of that would be, except for to prevent a loud noise when the door falls. But I'm not sure if the trap will even work with a piece of paper towel underneath, or if that's even what they meant.
I'm going to completely cover the trap with a large sheet (they said no towels as its too hot rn), and I've placed a pillowcase of the same sheet set on top of the trap to try to get her used to the smell for now.
Sorry for how long this is. Thank you so much for any help
***EDIT Picture of my trap set up in the comments cuz im dumb and forgot to attach to the post
Watching the credits, I see that Chris Douridis was the music supervisor! And looking at his imdb, he's the music supervisor for a lot of movies I wouldn't even think of. He's a DJ on KCRW 89.9.
I had met him in 2014 at the premiere of Heaven Adores You over at the Regent in LA. My boyfriend at the time recognized him and said his name, a bit star struck (i know its just a dj but). Chris told us how his son had just painted a mural of the Elliott Smith wall on his own bedroom wall. Then he said he had a catch a flight, and walked away. Then after like 2 minutes, we see him walking back, giving us his card! He was so nice! And is a huge fan of Elliott, obviously.
Anyway, just wanted to share. I was surprised to see his name in the credits.
