I’m still learning PMDG 777, so I could be missing something, but on multiple occasions I’ve been unable to extend the gear on approach.
I pull the level down, it comes down, but the gear itself does not extend. The lever is also stuck down and I can’t move it back up. I have had to resort to using the alternate gravity gear extension with the doors open. Anything I’m missing or is this a bug?
Was flying on VATSIM and had to disconnect because of this.
Was in my cruise at FL330, accidentally pressed one of my WASD keys (I have since unbinded them to reduce risk of this in the future) and the aircraft almost did a barrel roll.
I’m aware that if you use the sidestick on the A320 whilst autopilot is engaged, it will disconnect, but it would not reengage?
No matter what I tried, stabilizing the airplane(flying the airplane level, not over speed/stall) no FLCTRL inputs, disabling both FDs and enabling them again, reengaging the auto throttle, pressing autopilot disconnect on the sidestick, everything, but my AP1 or AP2 button just wouldn’t work.
I had ECAM message “AUTO FLT AP OFF”.
I’ve also read online that controller sensitivity can affect it and can mitigate this by altering deadzone, but I feel that’s not the issue as I’m not putting any flight control surface input unless I physically do it (no stick drift, yet…)
Is this a bug? Or a real A320 thing that I’m missing?
Travelling April 19th 2027 returning April 28th 2027. We are traveling as a couple. What would be ideal choice? Although we could be looking at £500 to selected seats across both legs, which is utterly ridiculous to be honest.
Will have bronze status so can choose 7 days before departure. Should I wait until then or secure them as we go? Would love a good wing/engine view but again, don’t really want to pay to select unless I really have to. Will BA seat us together if we don’t select them before?
Looks like E and F would be the worst nightmare…
Seen about UBC125XLT, but I live around 20 miles from the airport, will I be able to hear the aircraft and ATC? And what aerial to get? I don’t want anything obnoxiously large such as roof mounted but something I can put by the window for example.
Now me and my partner have accumulated around 180-190k Avios, with 2 Barclaycard upgrade vouchers (I need to fly mine by Sept 2027). Want to fly long haul business (ideally Club Suite).
Thing is I don’t JUST want to go somewhere for the sake of using them. Any recommendations?
We’re both in early 20s so somewhere that will suit us will be great. We have Nashville in mind and not really into going east (most of them are booked up by now anyway) - which narrows it down to basically North America.
I’ve only been to NYC that end of the pond and she is going to LA this month (one I would have liked). Caribbean would be amazing but seems availability again is limited, and hotels seem to be extortionate.
Want to go somewhere which will be fun for us, has decent availability and will be worth going to (with these flights in mind of course!
Side question, how can you go about booking 2 PAX on the same booking with the 2 upgrade vouchers?
