Switching for pixel phones, a different variety and one iPhone two Google fi

I'm one of the people that's on the boat of T-Mobile switching their plans. I have magenta Max and it looks like I want to experience more TI, I'm waiting till after the 13th to see how things shake out.

But I'm thinking about the Google fi unlimited which would still save me about $75 a month even with five phones.

My main question is we have two pixel 10 pro oneza 10 pro XL. We have one pixel 7 and we have one pixel 9 pro XL. My question is since Google fi has no deprioritization and has the same access as a normal T-Mobile postpaid plan like the magenta Max did that means we would still get 5G UC on say to pixel 10 pro. So if your phone is compatible with 5G ultra capacity, you should still get 5Go to capacity and standalone 5G. Is that correct.

Just doing my research before I fully commit to switching.

I know I can do a 7-day free trial which I could use my other Google account and not my main one.

I just want to do some research from people who already swayed or who are using Google fi that were from T-Mobile or similar phones and see their experience. Thank you

Hello team,

I’m a Systems Administrator needing to escalate an ongoing physical layer (L1) plant failure in my neighborhood.

I had a premise tech out on April 24th who did a great job identifying and replacing burnt copper connectors at the street tap and the house demarc. This temporarily stabilized my power levels, but after monitoring the line for a 5-day burn-in period, it’s clear the underlying issue is severe ingress noise out on the neighborhood node/amplifiers that is collapsing the signal.

My premise wiring is completely clean, and my local router has been completely isolated as the cause via continuous ICMP logging (WAN drops precede local network watchdog drops).

Hardware: Netgear Nighthawk CM3000 (DOCSIS 3.1)

Current Telemetry & Symptoms (As of May 2):

  • Massive Data Corruption: Downstream OFDM (Channel 33 at 690MHz) is actively taking extreme interference, currently sitting at over 28.2 Million Uncorrectable Codewords. Legacy QAM channels are also bleeding thousands of uncorrectables.
  • Hard Disconnects: The modem is suffering Critical T3 Time-outs (most recently today at 1:56 PM).
  • Channel Loss: Immediately following the T3 Time-outs, the modem is logging CM-STATUS Event Type 5 (Loss of Channel), dropping channels 1-19 and 34-45, and being forced into Partial Service limp-mode.
  • Profile Churning: The event log is flooded with Event Type 16 and 24 messages as the modem desperately drops modulation profiles to try and survive the noise floor.

The premise tech already fixed the drop to my house. I need this escalated to a Line Maintenance / Network Operations bucket so a bucket truck can come out and sweep the neighborhood node and amplifiers for this ingress.

Please let me know when we can get a line tech assigned to this. I have full event logs and continuous ping logs ready to provide via Modmail.

Thank you!
