Syntax for Admonitions? (conflicting guidance?)
I’m struggling to get Admonition markdown to work. Of course, I know I can insert them using the toolbar button, but I’d rather use markdown so I can just type…
Complicating matters, there seems to be some conflicting info in the official Trilium Notes User Guide.
In the section for blockquotes and admonitions, the syntax is “!!! tip”, “!!! information”, etc. And at the bottom of that section, there’s a link to the Supported Syntax section.
In that section, it states that the required syntax for admonitions is “[!TIP]”, “[!INFORMATION]”, etc. And right there on that page, it explicitly states that “There are currently no plans of supporting alternative admonition syntaxes such as ‘!!! note’.”
So I’m pretty confused.
Regardless, I can’t get any of the syntax to work. Whether in text or Markdown mode, typing either of the admonition formats doesn’t result in the insertion of the admonition.
What am I doing wrong?
