Recent Changes to AnyDesk license

I moved from Teamviewer to Anydesk because of how Teamviewer was treating free users who were not making money from the program.

For a while, AnyDesk was fine.

But it seems like in the last few weeks, an orange banner was started appearing in the top of AnyDesk's interface, which says:

Free License (non-professional use) - Start trial license

The banner is annoying, but whatever. The major thing I've noticed is that Anydesk is now kicking me out of my session after a short period of time. As little as 15 minutes. And tells me it's a "license limitation".

I've gone to AnyDesk's website to make sure my ID is whitelisted as a free user. Yet I keep getting the disconnect.

And I've grown tired of it.

Is this now the new norm with AnyDesk? Am I going to need to just switch again?

I'm not buying a license just so I can connect to a personal hobby machine a few times a day. If I was in business and this was part of my income, fine. But not for a damn hobby. Especially when there are other free alternatives as well.

Came across an upload on Youtube today which made my blood boil.

Deputy Keener, Deputy McClinton and Officer Freeman pulled over a man who has IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome). After a search of the vehicle, they found him with medication in the car.

Cops verified at the scene that the medication was not a controlled substance through a search, however, Getchius was arrested for possession, and the deputies / prosecutor decided to move forward with charges after an on-scene test kit was used, which falsely indicated fentanyl.

Even AFTER the SLED forensics lab returned test results stating that the medication was not a controlled substance, and verified that it was the medication stated by Getchius, the prosecution doubled down and offered a plea deal.

Charges were eventually dropped after Getchius declined the plea deal.

Bryan Getchius is now suing Greenwood County after the arrest.

Press conference:

The reports filed by the police officers on-scene contained fabrications, and omitted several important details that should have been recorded in the initial report.

Why these cops aren't terminated is beyond me. If I screwed up this bad, my job would show me the door.
