I am 23F right now feeling like shit because I am seriously worried whether I will pass down my generational trauma to my kids in future as I am brought up in a dysfunctional family with lots of toxic parenting. My mother raised me alone and i deeply respects her and love her for that but then she is very much manipulative and never let me have my space. she is toxic but then she have years of trauma which made her like that. My entire family is so dry and loveless. never known what it is like to have a good father figure in life....all inhad my mother but then she turned out to be toxic and manipulative and sister who doesn't bother my mere existence.will I become more like them? how do people from dysfunctional families cope this kind of anxious thoughts
