My first mod: Band of the Mystic Scoundrel Tweaked

Hi! I just wanted to share my first ever mod that’s super simple but I’m still proud of it! All it does is add a toggle to the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel, allowing enchantment or illusion spells to be cast as another action and/or a bonus action after a weapon attack. I was tired of my swords bard being barred from casting most of her spells as a second hasted attack because she had to heal as a bonus action so….i learned how to mod just to fix that.

I’ve tested it extensively with no issues, but I’m still new to this and would welcome constructive criticism!

I’ve been trying for years and I can’t stop biting. I am at a loss

I’m 25 and I’ve been biting the skin around my nails forever. the last 4 years I’ve made a dedicated effort to stop and I just can’t. I’m always biting throughout the day as if on autopilot, and if I want to stop I have to REALLY focus on not doing it but I usually fail. I also pick around the bitten parts usually in public if I’m aware enough to not obviously bite but that’s usually auto-pilot too. And if I’m not doing that I’m feeling my broken skin around my nails and running my fingers up and down those parts of my hands.

I have ADHD and OCD and I’m treated for both. This doesn’t feel like a “compulsion” in the clinical sense because it’s not connected to any thoughts, obsession, anxiety, etc. I literally just do it all the time. I’m not saying it isn’t one idk but just to explain how it feels. As far as focus, I just graduated law school and I have literally gotten blood on exam sheets before because I would type with one hand and bite with the other (I know, hazard, bad, I’m trying).

The only thing that has even remotely worked is bandaids on every finger for a physical barrier. But as soon as the bandaids are off I’m back and I’ve gone like 2 weeks straight with them on (obviously changing them). Bandaids changed multiple times a day is also expensive, can get in the way of typing and I’m currently studying for the bar, and I can’t wear them in public.

Fidget toys, lotions, anti nail bite polish, nothing has worked. Medication + treatment for ADHD and OCD that has worked in every other area of my life. I’m going to be a practicing attorney in 6 months and I can’t even shake someone’s hand bc my hands are bleeding!!! I don’t know if I need advice or support or just to vent but god I’m at a loss.

Irritability with gradual decrease??

Hi! F25, bipolar 2.

I’ve been on lamictal for 10 years at 175 mg. I’ve been working to wean off of it slowly by reducing 25 mg at a time (per month or every other month, psychiatrist and I are deciding at each appointment).

I’ve also been on 600mg of lithium for almost as long, I’ve been stable with almost no episodes since, and it’s doing the heavy lifting with keeping me stable. So I’m hoping to get off of (or just significantly decrease) lamictal to help with at least some of my cognitive/memory issues.

When I decreased from 175 to 150 (couple months ago) zero side effects and noticed no change. I decreased from 150 to 125 a week ago and for the past 3 days ish I’ve been super irritable and prone to bad moods.

I’m first wondering if anyone else has had these side effects after a small decrease. I’m second wondering if these are side effects that I need to ride out before it levels back, or if this is a sign that I should bump back up to 150 mg (psych gave me the go ahead to go back up if needed).

Thanks so much for your help everyone.

Irritability when reducing lamictal?

Hi! F25, bipolar 2. I’ve seen lots of posts about irritability when adding/increasing lamictal, but none about reducing lamictal.

I’ve been on lamictal for 10 years at 175 mg. I’ve been working to wean off of it slowly by reducing 25 mg at a time (per month or every other month, psychiatrist and I are deciding at each appointment).

Side support/ spacer style bra with padding?

Hi! I posted here previously with my measurements with requests for a bra that won’t cause spillage. I wore my correct size (32D) and my bras fit normally after “scooping” my breasts into them, but any slight movement and spillage out of the top and sides.

One lovely person recommended the skarlett spellbound bra. That particular bra wasn’t perfect, but that overall style seems to be a match. This bra from Amazon in a 32D fits PERFECTLY and it’s similar to that style: https://a.co/d/0gwj8yYA

The only issue is that bra and all others that I’ve found in that style have no lining. I’ve also found some in that style that are push up but I just want regular light padding. My nipples show through the unlined ones and they’re sensitive so I feel it when something brushes past them, but I also don’t want a push up bra.

My desperate request is for a bra similar to the one linked (or skarlett spellbound) that has light/average padding. I need side support and spacer bras seem to be what works for me, but I know the lining style is core to spacer bras so anything similar is fine.

If it matters, my issue with spellbound was just that it seemed to “flatten” my breasts. Not the wrong size, just affected the overall look and feel. Anyway thank you so so so much I appreciated the help last time!!
