I’m stuck in bed recovering so I need a good classic tv show with preferably numerous seasons. (A tv show that every tv show enthusiast should watch at least once in their life). For context I’ve watched the typical shows most have watched: lost, breaking bad, game of thrones, Dexter, better call Saul, etc. PS. The last classic show I tried watching (probably going to offend a few) but the wire. I have attempted 3 different times to watch it and for the life of me I cannot get through it. I always hear how amazing it is but meh.

Edit: thanks for all the great suggestions! Some I’ve watched, some I’ve never even heard of! The list I’ve compiled so far is definitely going to carry me beyond the recovery - which I do not mind at all. Definitely always in need for great tv shows.

I remember hearing about Vince releasing a new tv and was immediately intrigued. When it was first released I didn’t have an Apple TV subscription (I tend to only keep it when severance was on) so I thought I’d wait until all episodes were released. I knew nothing of the premise or hadn’t looked into how well audiences received it. Fast forward a few months I was able to secure a free 3 month trial so I immediately started the first episode. I instantly became intrigued and was able to finish it in a few days. So my question is: for those who watched it weekly how was the experience? It’s described as a “slow burn” (which I don’t mind) but then would it have made a difference for me if I had to wait a week for each episode? Do you think it makes a difference?
