Does my exp count towards data engg?

I'm currently working as a data analyst 1.7yrs in a fintech. My tech stack is SQL, snowflake, dbt, airflow, git and python.

I've worked on building and maintaining dbt models, optimising sql queries, and have also built streamlit apps.

Preparing to switch, targeting roles like data/product analyst, analytics engineer, business analyst and data engineer.

Will it be like starting from scratch if i move toward data engg? I haven't worked with Pyspark, databricks, AWS etc as part of my job, but if i do the databricks cert and a project will it be a meaningful transition?

Is it worth doing tableau cert? Will it be of any help?

I'm a data analyst, working with SQL, python, snowflake, dbt and airflow. I've worked with tableau too, but not extensively.

Is it worth doing tableau desktop cert? I've seen job postings specifically saying having it is a plus. Will it help stand out, or is it enough to be thorough with it and have a project or two?

What do i do next?

I'm currently working as a data analyst in a fintech.

Also looking into data/AI roles like applied AI engineer - have seen ones requiring a combination of snowflake, python, RAG and fastapi for example.

What can I do/learn in order to upskill for these roles efficiently?

Also is the applied AI thing a meaningful & feasible transition for me?

Can i get a windows laptop and crack mac os in it?

My goal is to be able to use Logic Pro, which is only available on mac. However I'm thinking if I'll buy a windows laptop and crack mac OS in it, that way I use mac os in a separate profile and windows in the other, I can use logic without having to miss out on stuff like gaming, which is impossible on mac.

Is it possible to do this? What specs would be ideal?

Would like to understand more about psychosomatic pain

I have had back pain for 3+ years. Mainly in the middle, but it radiates. Been doing physio for more than 7 months, tried different treatments, but no real change in pain levels.

Physiotherapist tells me to engage in daily activities without overthinking the pain - try meditation, walking, etc. But the more I try not to think about it, the more I actually do.

It's very hard to meditate - spending time alone with my thoughts(and sitting up for long) makes the pain worse, plus when I try to "focus on my breath" I end up breathing manually, then my breaths get shallow.

I can't stop thinking about the possibility that no amount of treatment works, and that I could be stuck with this pain forever. At this point I can't say how much of it is real, and how much I'm imagining.

Hoping Dr K makes a video about this, but would like to hear about other people's experiences, and any resources to learn more about this are also appreciated
