Queen Janine

Okay I just want to say how much I’ve enjoyed watching Janine Sonis this season.

I didn’t really rate her much from all the years where she was on the opponent’s team but now that she’s on ‘my’ team and I watch her more closely, I’ve really enjoyed coming to appreciate her game. Love her mindset, love her services, of course love her pens.

Boom. Something positive.

Organizer for paper files

My partner hates file storage and I hate piles of paper in the kitchen. Is there a product y’all have found that solves this dilemma?

The trash can is not an option, we do have to keep some hard copy stuff.

I file my stuff and our shared stuff but this would just be partner’s stuff. Thanks!

What would you do?

Third trimester with #2, work more than 40 hours on average per week through the year, and I have six - SIX - unicorn days coming up where I don’t have work (mostly) and our older has daycare.

I usually get about two of these days per year.

What would you do?

House is a mess, garden is riddled with weeds, life admin is hideously behind…ohhh the possibilities.

Pregnant at Office Job - Disordered Eating

I work in a small office with a lot of women who are very outwardly focused on food. I have a history of disordered eating that they don’t know about and I have found the environment difficult without navigating a pregnancy. Now that I’m pregnant with my second, things are going a bit downhill.

I dealt with stronger food aversion this time around and there’s a part of me that was ‘proud’ of my lower food intake and people’s comments that they couldn’t tell I was pregnant. Now that I’m getting into my third trimester, the urge to restrict is becoming tied to my increasing size.

The constant focus on what everyone’s eating at work and the more frequent comments about me ‘finally showing’ are fueling some thought patterns that I know aren’t great.

I don’t know how to navigate this environment without it furthering these destructive internal thoughts. Wish I could just be remote and hide the tummy I feel like everyone’s staring at but that’s not in the cards.

I am in therapy but it’s newly established and I haven’t brought this up yet.
