Cows can fish, baby chicks can fly and carry cows... I am making a love letter to the platformers I grew up with.
I started development on my latest game (Moonlight Cow: Guardian of the Night) in January and its been a heck of a ride. What started as a small prototype has jumped into an 8 world/64 level adventure. I wanted to make the type of game I would have loved playing when I was a kid. Not super punishing and more about exploration than precision. At its core its a retro 2d platformer but diving into you find all sorts of wacky things as you play.
You play as Luna, but you can also switch to her best friend. Pipkin can fly, carry Luna, pick up objects and help solve parts of levels that Luna can't reach on her own.
I just released an updated demo on Steam where you can play 4 levels across 4 different worlds in the adventure.
